Cookbook author Holly Llewellyn is the last person who should be labeled an ""enemy of the state""—or is she? After all, her brother is a missing traitor, and with her ties to the president, the Secret Service isn't taking chances....
So they send in agent David Goddard, undercover. But after one glance, David knows Holly isn't just an ""assignment""—she's a woman who'll change his life.

While romance, spies, and counterespionage fill this story, it would have benefited from a more polished reading. Scenes are disjointed and hard to follow. Humorous adult behavior sounds more infantile than humorous. The portrayal of a 9-year-old child is uninspired and leaves the listener wondering about his mental capacity. The ex-wife's voice sounds like a male impersonating a female and distracts the listener from the story. Although ROMANTIC TIMES MAGAZINE names Miller "The Most Outstanding Writer of Sensual Romance," this audio is best left on the shelf. G.D.W. (c) AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine
