      Gonzalez (Dorm Decor) sees Sundays as the ideal day for sewing--and this guide is intended to take advantage of those small pockets of time, since most of the projects can be finished in a few hours. The garments are the type of boxy, shapeless pieces that often work best on willowy women; while the lack of shaping makes them quick to sew, they aren't flattering for many body types. The accessories and children's projects, which comprise the last quarter of the book, are more versatile. VERDICT The title's design is lovely, and Gonzalez's instructions are complete, but sewists may find it more useful to spend more time on a well-fitting garment rather than sewing a quick, perhaps unflattering piece.
